THEMENWEG AUGSTBACH!
Der Themenweg Augstbach in Altaussee befasst sich mit dem Thema „Wald und Schutz vor Naturgefahren". Auf knapp 2 Kilometern Weg durch den Wald, die sowohl zu Fuß als auch mit dem Rad zu erkunden sind, kannst du dich auf 14 Stationen über den Schutz vor Wildbachgefahren, Lawinen, Steinschlag, Hochwasser und andere Themen, die du auf der Karte oben siehst, informieren. Auch verspielte Stationen, wie das Themenweg-Augstbach-Steinschlagspiel oder das Holzrate-Spiel und ein witziger Fotopoint, sind dabei und laden zur Bewusstseinsbildung ein. Für vertiefende Informationen haben wir weiter unten eine Link-Liste für mehr Informationen zusammengestellt.
Für die kleinsten Gäste, und gerne auch für die größeren, hat uns der Künstler Philipp Pamminger AUGSTI in den unterschiedlichsten Situationen im Wald gezeichnet. Drei-Themen-Weg in Altaussee:
Wenn du diesen Weg besuchst, befindest du dich auch direkt auf dem Altausseer Drei-Themen-Weg. Dieser Themenweg verbindet die VIA SALIS, der Weg zum Thema Salzabbau, und den Künstlerweg VIA ARTIS, der Weg über Kunst- und Kulturschaffende in und um Altaussee. Du kannst deine Wissenswanderungen also ausdehnen - je nach Lust und Laune.

Welcome to the
AUGSTBACH THEME TRAIL!
The Augstbach theme trail in Altaussee focuses on the topic of “The Forest and Protection against Natural Hazards“.
Along an approximately 2-kilometer long trail, which can be explored both on foot and by bike, you will find 14 stations filled with informatoin about the protection against torrent hazards, avalanches, rockfall, floods and other topics indicated on the map above.
Some stations create awareness through a more playful approach, like the Augstbach rockfall game or the wood guessing game. A funny photo spot is also included. For more in-depth information, we have compiled a list of links below.
For our youngest visitors, the artist Philipp Pamminger has drawn AUGSTI in many different situations in the forest. AUGSTI is an Alpine chamois and lives along the trail.

Three-Theme-Trail in Altaussee:
When visiting this trail, you are also walking on the Altaussee Three-Theme-Trail. This theme trail connects the VIA SALIS, a trail about salt mining, and the artist trail VIA ARTIS, a trail about the creative artists in and around Altaussee. This means that you can extend your hikes full of knowledge depending on your mood and preferences.
